Designing a greener future: Architechts Conclave in Assam's Kaziranga to focus on sustainablity

The Association of Architects Assam (AAA) will hold the AAA Conclave 2024, on September 27-29 in Kaziranga.

Guwahati (Assam) [India], September 25 (ANI): The Association of Architects Assam (AAA) will hold the AAA Conclave 2024, on September 27-29 in Kaziranga.
This gathering of architects, industry leaders, and influential thinkers will focus on the theme "Integrating Nature in Sustainable Architecture," addressing the critical need for environmentally conscious design.
Professor Ar Abhay Purohit, President, Council of Architecture (COA), will present as the Guest of Honour at the Conclave.
The Conclave will feature distinguished guest speakers, including Prof. Ar. Anne Feenstra, Laureate of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2012; Ar. Charanjit Singh Shah, a visionary in sustainable urban infrastructure; Ar. Chitra Biswanath, a pioneering voice among Indian women architects; and Utpal Sharma, Director at the Institute of Architecture, Nirma University.
The conclave will have exclusive presentations by Creative Group, talks and panel discussions on sustainability and architectural sensibilities, special contribution to Kaziranga National Park authority, release of Conclave Journal, exhibition of products and information by event partners etc.
Ar Pankaj Phukan, General Secretary, AAA, said that - "We are proud to host this event in Northeast India, showcasing architects' contributions to the region and beyond. Our themes reflect the urgent need for sustainable development and lifestyles and also design a greener future. We are expecting a constructive and informative outcome from the conclave, strengthening professional and personal bonds among architects. Over 150 architects from across India will participate in the conclave." (ANI)
