Delhi Police arrest man for supplying illegal arms, ammunition to gangsters

A man was arrested in Delhi for allegedly supplying arms and ammunition to gangsters based in Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, said the police on Tuesday.

New Delhi [India], October 10 (ANI): A man was arrested in Delhi on Tuesday for allegedly supplying arms and ammunition to gangsters based in Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, said the police.
According to the police, 28 single-shot and semi-automatic pistols and ammunition were recovered from his possession.
"Lalit Baghpat, who is the supplier and has his manufacturing unit in Loni has been arrested. During the raid, 28 single-shot and semi-automatic pistols and ammunition were recovered. Interrogation has revealed that he supplied country-made weapons to many gangsters in Delhi, western UP and Haryana", said Sagar Singh Kalsi, DCP, North Delhi.
