Delhi: Fake maid placement agency busted

New Delhi [India], Feb 8 (ANI): In a major achievement, a squad of Delhi Crime Branch has busted a nexus of a fake placement agency, which dupes people in the name of providing them domestic help.

Delhi Police arrested the mastermind of the fake placement agency

New Delhi [India], Feb 8 (ANI): In a major achievement, a squad of Delhi Crime Branch on Friday busted a nexus of a fake placement agency, which duped people in the name of providing them domestic help.
The Inter border Gangs Investigation Squad has arrested the mastermind of the racket, who has been identified as Sanjay Sahani.
According to the police, the victims used to hire domestic help online. The agent used to leave them at the victim’s house and the help used to flee from the victim's house immediately after receiving a commission amount of Rs. 25-30,000.
During an investigation by the Crime Branch, it was revealed that there are several fake online placement agencies which are active in Delhi and NCR region and are indulged in duping citizens in various posh colonies of their hard earned money.
On this, a team under close supervision of ACP Aditya Gautam led by Inspector Yashpal Singh comprising of SI Anuj Chhikara, HC Badri Prasad, HC Kuldeep, HC Subhash, Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Parvinder, Ct. Paramjit, Ct. Parveen and W/Ct Anju, under overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh was constituted to trace and nab the culprits. The Crime Branch team scrutinized the voluminous data and examined several placement agencies in Delhi and NCR.
The investigation in the matter is underway. Search for the other members of the nexus is underway. (ANI)
