New Delhi [India], February 2 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday highlighted the achievements of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) double-engine government and emphasised the focus on building a strong and stable government.
Dhami addressed a public meeting organised in support of BJP candidate Ravindra Inderraj Singh from the Bawana constituency ahead of the Delhi assembly elections.
Speaking at the meeting, Dhami said "Our goal is the overall development of Delhi, and for this, we need a strong and stable government. Many important development works have been done in Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. More than 30 thousand needy people have got a concrete roof under Modi's rule, while lakhs of people are taking advantage of free treatment under the Ayushman Yojana."
CM Dhami attacked the AAP government and said that they had failed to deliver the schemes of the Central government.
He further stated that the BJP government in Uttarakhand had taken strict action against "love jihad", "spit jihad" and "land jihad", and fulfilled all resolutions with honesty.
"Aam Aadmi Party government has failed to deliver the schemes of the Central Government to the people of Delhi. Due to the double-engine government in Uttarakhand, overall development has been possible in the state. Our government has taken strict action against love jihad, spit jihad and land jihad. Whatever resolutions the BJP has taken, it has fulfilled them with full honesty. Important decisions like removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya and implementation of Uniform Civil Code have been taken," Dhami said.
Further, the CM reminded that AAP always took steps against the Sanatan and Hindus and did not raise his voice when Hindus were tortured in Bangladesh.
He also mentioned how AAP had only cheated on issues like the cleanliness of the Yamuna River.
"AAP has only taken steps against Sanatan and Hindus. They did not even raise their voice when the Hindus were being tortured in Bangladesh..." he stated.
"Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party have only cheated regarding the cleanliness of Yamuna river in Delhi." The Chief Minister said, "While the Yamuna River remains clean in Uttarakhand, it is sad to see its condition in Delhi," he further added.
CM Dhami appealed to the people of Delhi to support Ravindra Inderraj Singh and ensure a BJP victory, which would bring a "double-engine government" to Delhi.
"Vote in favour of BJP on February 5 and make Ravindra Indraj Singh victorious with a huge majority. Only the double engine government of BJP can ensure the real development of Delhi," he said.
The Delhi Assembly elections will take place in a single phase on February 5, with the vote counting scheduled for February 8. (ANI)
