Delhi-bound Indigo flight returns to Patna airport due to technical issue

Patna (Bihar) [India], January 3 (ANI): A Delhi-bound flight of Indigo Airlines returned to patna-airport">Patna airport shortly after departure due to a technical issue on Wednesday, an official statement of the airline said.
According to the statement, the flight has been cancelled for the day and passengers have been offered refunds or alternate travel options.
"IndiGo flight 6E 2074 from Patna to Delhi reported a technical issue and returned to Patna Airport where it landed safely. The aircraft is undergoing inspection as per protocol. The flight has been cancelled for the day and passengers have been offered refunds or alternate travel options. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused," the statement said.
The plane with 187 passengers onboard made a safe landing at the patna-airport">Patna airport.
Meanwhile, the airline also informed that flight operations in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Patna and Bhopal are impacted due to bad weather.
"Due to bad weather, flight operations in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Patna and Bhopal are impacted. Please check your flight status before leaving for the airport," the airline posted on X. (ANI)
