New Delhi [India], August 10 (ANI): BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj participated in a cleanliness drive as a part of the party's 'Jhuggi Basti Safai Abhiyan' held in Naraina Vihar on Saturday.
Visuals emerged where she was seen planting saplings along with the residents of Narayan Vihar.

Speaking to ANI, she said that the cleanliness drive was organised to clear the garbage from the dump fill.
"Today, we, the members of the BJP, have come to this area between Chirag Delhi village and Sheikh Sarai bridge. There is a drainage system nearby, due to which a dump has been made. As a part of the Jhuggi Basti Safai Abhiyan, we organised a cleanliness drive here and planted saplings to create a good environment and build a park here for the residents," Swaraj said.
Earlier, on August 4, Bhartiya Janata Party leaders including Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, Union Minister Harsh Malhotra, and Bansuri Swaraj took part in the 'Jhuggi Basti Safai Abhiyan' campaign.
The BJP leaders, in their respective areas, took part in the cleanliness drive and planted trees as part of the campaign.
The Delhi BJP chief took part in the drive in the Anand Vihar area, while BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj joined the cleanliness drive in Naraina Vihar, and East Delhi MP, Harsh Malhotra, participated in the campaign at Kalander colony.
BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bhiduri also participated in the drive from Badarpur, and BJP leader Praveen Khandelwal participated in the Wazirpur area.
Speaking about the campaign, Sachdeva said, "We have launched a cleanliness drive in many slums of Delhi. It is the rainy season, and many types of diseases occur, dengue cases are also increasing. All our workers are running cleanliness programmes in different slums in Delhi today. We are going to continue this programme."
Meanwhile, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj launched a scathing attack on the AAP government in Delhi, saying that it is AAP's old habit that they don't do any work and when some crisis occurs, they blame the officials. (ANI)
