Defence Ministry makes changes in family pension rules

he Delhi High court while disposing a Habeas Corpus petition held that Minor childrens' custody with mother, who is a natural guardian, can not be termed as illegal. A British Citizen of Pakistan origin Yasir Ayaz had moved a petition of Habeas Corpus for production of his children and their repatriation to the United Kingdom as per the order of UK Family court.

"We are forming the government in Tamil Nadu, and we have decided to work together to defeat the DMK. PM Modi has given us a clear direction. Double-engine government in Delhi and the NDA government in Tamil Nadu. Together, we will transform Tamil Nadu and will make it a very good state. We will eliminate corruption and the loot of the DMK and the Stalin family," Goyal told reporters in Tiruchirappalli.

Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth said on Wednesday that India is committed to the welfare of its neighbours, while steadfast on zero-tolerance towards terrorism. He was delivering keynote address at the National Seminar: "Changing Dynamics in India's Neighbourhood", organised by Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) as part of the activities being undertaken to commemorate its 25th Anniversary in New Delhi.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha on the no-confidence motion against Speaker Om Birla, the BJP MP said that Congress is less engaged by the Leader of Opposition in the Lower House not being allowed to speak, but more because they cannot accept equality before the law.
