Daughter of Bhavnagar resident injured in Pahalgam terror attack assures father's condition is 'improving'

Following yesterday's terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Sheetal Ben, the daughter of Vinodbhai Dabhi, shared an update on her father's condition. Vinodbhai, who had travelled to Kashmir with his wife, sustained bullet injuries during the attack.

Bhavnagar (Gujarat) [India], April 23 (ANI): Following yesterday's terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Sheetal Ben, the daughter of Vinodbhai Dabhi, shared an update on her father's condition. Vinodbhai, who had travelled to Kashmir with his wife, sustained bullet injuries during the attack.
Despite the terrifying ordeal, Sheetal assured that her father is doing well and on the path to recovery. And she also mentioned that the MLA, mayor, IG, SP, and all of them visited her and even tried to contact their parents.
Speaking to ANI, Daughter of Vinodbhai Dabhi, Sheetal Ben said, "...My parents are on a Kashmir trip, and during the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, my father sustained bullet injuries in his hand. But as of now, he is doing well; I have seen his interview. MLA, mayor, IG, SP, and all of them visited us, and they tried to contact my parents. I have talked to my mother."
While Bhavnagar DIG Gautam M Parmar said, "Vinodbhai Dabhi, a resident of Bhavnagar, has been injured in the terror attack in J&K...He has been admitted to the Government Medical Hospital in Anantnag and his condition is improving...According to the information we have, 20 people from Bhavnagar had gone there for sightseeing. We can say something after finding out the names of the people present at the spot; we are in touch with the local Jammu and Kashmir police. We will get more information after some time..."

Bhavnagar's DIG confirmed that Vinodbhai Dabhi is being treated at the Government Medical Hospital in Anantnag, and his condition is improving.
He also added that around 20 people from Bhavnagar had travelled to Pahalgam for sightseeing, and they are working closely with the Jammu and Kashmir police to gather more information.
The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search operation in the general area of Baisran, Pahalgam, Anantnag, to nab the perpetrators of the attack.
The incident, which targeted tourists in the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district, sparked widespread outrage across the nation. Several political leaders condemned the attack. (ANI)
