Dantewada attack: Ailing mother doesn't know her son is no more

Bolangir (Odisha) [India], Oct 30 (ANI): Prabhat Kumar Sahu, the brother of slain Doordarshan journalist Achyutananda Sahu, a resident of Ghusuramunda village in Odisha, couldn't believe the news of his brother's death.

Bolangir (Odisha) [India], Oct 30 (ANI): Prabhat Kumar Sahu, the brother of slain Doordarshan journalist Achyutananda Sahu, a resident of Ghusuramunda village in Odisha, couldn't believe the news of his brother's death.
Prabhat said that his mother, who is a heart and kidney patient, has not yet been told that her beloved son has left this world.
"My mother suffers from heart and kidney disease. She doesn't know anything. My father knows little. I myself was unaware of the new. The others in the village gave me the information. When I came to know, I couldn't believe it. I still can't believe that he's left us," said a dazed Prabhat.
Achyutananda was killed on Tuesday in a Naxal attack in Dantewada’s Aranpur. 
A Doordarshan senior official said the Chhattisgarh government is providing all necessary assistance to the kin of the deceased.
"DD and Information and Broadcasting Ministry stand committed to the welfare of its employees in all circumstances. A senior DD News officer is accompanying the family of the deceased cameraman to Raipur for bringing back body to Delhi. Chhattisgarh government is providing all possible assistance," said the official. (ANI)
