Cyclone VAYU: NDRF rescues woman in need of a pre-term delivery from island

Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth attended the concluding event of the week-long Military-Civil Fusion Exercise Sanyukt Kavach, conducted under the aegis of the Indian Army's Southern Command at Aundh Military Station, Pune.

The incident happened near Bharoli under the Police Station Jawalamukhi. Superintendent of Police (SP) Dehra, Mayank Choudhary, told ANI that local teams, police team, fire team and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) will resume the search operation tomorrow.

Nagpur Collector Vipin Itankar on Sunday confirmed that 10 to 12 dead bodies were recovered, and expert teams are working at the site to ascertain the cause of the incident after a massive explosion at SBL Energy Limited in the district left at least 15 people dead and 18 others critically injured.

"This time in Vayu Shakti 2026, we showcased a small glimpse of the Air Force's motto, which is now 'Achook, Abhedya, aur Sateek' (Unerring, Impenetrable, and Precise). And in this, we demonstrated how we executed Operation Sindoor. How, after a trigger event - the Pahalgam attack in which our civilians were killed - we took action, dominated the escalation ladder, and forced the enemy to come to the negotiating table through our actions and precise targeting," Wing Commander Singh told ANI.

President Droupadi Murmu and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended the Indian Air Force's (IAF) large-scale Exercise Vayu Shakti at Pokhran, Jaisalmer, on Friday. The exercise showcased the operational preparedness, tactical capabilities, and combat efficiency of the IAF.
