Cyclone Nisarga likely to make landfall in Maharashtra's Alibaug on June 3: IMD

A bomb threat mail, which was sent to the Meteorological Department Hyderabad on early Friday morning, claiming the implantation of 14 RDX Bombs at the Hyderabad IMD office, turned out to be a hoax.

The IMD staff immediately alerted the police, who swung into action. The employees were evacuated to a safe location, and the police, along with the bomb squad, conducted a thorough search of the premises, checking every room.

Most parts of India will continue to experience a surge in temperatures in the coming days of the week, with 4-6°C above normal over many parts of Northwest India and 2-4°C above normal over Central India.

According to temple authorities, the eclipse will commence at 3:21 PM and continue until 6:47 PM. As per established religious customs followed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the temple will be closed from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Speaking to ANI, he said, "The weather in Rajasthan has taken a turn, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees in most districts. Currently, minimum and maximum temperatures are being recorded 2-5 degrees above normal in most parts of the state. The maximum temperature recorded in Barmer was 36.5 degrees, which is 4.5 degrees above normal."
