CPM is spreading Jihadi terrorism across Kerala: Adityanath

Kannur (Kerala) [India], October 4 (ANI): Joining the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) 'Janaraksha Yatra' in Kannur against the alleged killing of RSS workers in Kerala, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) of spreading Jihadi terrorism in the state.

Adityanath said, "The CPM doesn't believe in democracy. These people chant slogans of secularism, but want to make Kerala the base of Jihadi terrorism in the name secularism."

This Jihadi terrorism is not acceptable, he added and said that Kerala is a divine land and the spirit of nationalism needs to be driven here.

Raking up the issue of the foreign ideology, he said, "We need to think how this communist ideology has gained its roots in Kerala, which once used to be known as the land of eternal Hinduism."

He also mentioned that in recent time at least 283 BJP workers have been brutally murdered by CPI (M).

"Kannur in Malayalam means tears and believe me the CPM will soon have tears, when their government will be dethroned in Kerala and no one can prevent this from happening," Yogi concluded.

The BJP's 15-day 'padyatra' here will span across 154 km, covering 11 districts of Kerala. It will be the BJP's first major public demonstration in the state as it attempts to make inroads into the state's electoral politics. (ANI)
