COVID victim's body taken to cremation ground in auto-rickshaw in Ludhiana

In an 'X' post, TMC said the government has "ek hi naara, line mein rahe desh bechara," pointing to past governmental measures including demonetisation, the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the Special Identification Registration (SIR), and now the LPG shortage. The party described demonetisation as a "Tughlaqi farman" that forced ordinary citizens to wait in serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs for days to access their own money. The post also highlighted the 2020 COVID-19 oxygen crisis, when families stood in long lines outside hospitals and suppliers as the public health system collapsed.

A team of Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) West District apprehended the main contractor from Udaipur in Rajasthan in connection to Janakpuri biker's death case. The accused has been identified as Himanshu Gupta. He was hiding there and is now being brought to New Delhi.

In a post on X, Delhi Police said, "Sir, this is to inform that A criminal case has been registered under appropriate sections of law. Delhi Police teams are in constant touch with the victim and are providing all necessary assistance. Multiple teams have already been deployed to identify and apprehend the accused at the earliest.

According to the Delhi Police, the Delhi Transport Corporation bus involved in the accident is being towed away from the site of the incident in Nangloi. The bus crushed a youth riding a scooter, after which the youth died on the spot. Also, an e-rickshaw and some people were hit by the bus, after which the injured were admitted to the hospital.

According to the Delhi Police, the victim was alone in his vehicle when the attackers opened fire from close range, resulting in his immediate death.
