COVID-19: Telangana SSC exams cancelled

In an 'X' post, TMC said the government has "ek hi naara, line mein rahe desh bechara," pointing to past governmental measures including demonetisation, the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the Special Identification Registration (SIR), and now the LPG shortage. The party described demonetisation as a "Tughlaqi farman" that forced ordinary citizens to wait in serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs for days to access their own money. The post also highlighted the 2020 COVID-19 oxygen crisis, when families stood in long lines outside hospitals and suppliers as the public health system collapsed.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday said that 56 of 60 aspirants clearing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations were beneficiaries of the state government's Naan Mudhalvan scheme.

She urged the government and District Collector to visit immediately, highlighting children in need of medicines and students unable to attend exams. Kavitha criticised the government's inaction, saying no minister has visited the site. She urged Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to respond immediately.

Mumbai Airport experienced significant disruption on Sunday with a total of 66 air traffic movements (ATMs) being cancelled, according to source-based information. The cancellations included 32 arrivals and 34 departures.

In Uttar Pradesh's Shamli, parents of Aastha Jain, who secured the 9th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025, expressed their pride. Her father said, "She secured 4th rank across India in the 12th board examinations. She has also cracked the UPSC exam three times. Currently, she is in the Rajasthan IPS cadre and is undergoing training in Hyderabad."
