COVID-19: Kerala reports 25,722 fresh cases

The Monsoon Session of Parliament began on July 20 and concluded on August 13. It adjourned sine die on August 13 after 19 sittings spread over 25 days. Prorogation means the termination of a Session of the House by an order made by the President under Article 85(2)(a) of the Constitution.

The event, being held from September 17 to 19, will focus on industry engagement, policy direction and international partnerships. 

The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a 19-year-old youth from Tamil Nadu for his alleged involvement in a terror module inspired by the ideology of Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), taking the total number of arrests in the case to two.

In a major boost to healthcare infrastructure and medical education in North Karnataka, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new academic building of KLE Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath Medical College (JGMMMC) and the 1,200-bed KLE Hospital & Medical Research Centre (KLE HMRC) at Gabbur in Hubballi on September 19.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) will host a two-day international conference on “The Future of Environment and Climate Dynamics” in New Delhi on September 19 and 20, bringing together judges, judicial representatives, environmental experts and senior officials from 17 countries to deliberate on emerging challenges relating to climate change, environmental governance and environmental justice.
