Coronavirus: Academic activities at IIT Kharagpur suspended till March 31

IIT Guwahati leads a collaboration between Northeast India and Japan to strengthen academic and industry ties. IIT Guwahati conducted the Japan-Northeast Academia Industry Cooperation Symposium 2026 (JNTCS) on March 9 and 10, in partnership with Gifu University, Japan.

According to the police, the raid was conducted after authorities received specific information from an informant regarding gambling activities taking place at the farmhouse. Acting on the tip-off, a police team reached the location and carried out the operation.

Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth said on Wednesday that India is committed to the welfare of its neighbours, while steadfast on zero-tolerance towards terrorism. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has told a Delhi court that its investigation in a terror funding case was delayed due to the law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir following the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday said it has attached immovable properties valued at Rs 313.12 crore as part of its ongoing investigation into Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Ltd (APIL) and its promoters for their involvement in criminal activities, including financial misappropriation and fraudulent diversion of funds collected from homebuyers.
