Dausa (Rajasthan) [India], July 25 (ANI): Rain has been lashing the region of Dausa in Rajasthan for the past 18 hours, causing waterlogging in the area and cutting off connectivity with many colonies along the Jaipur Road.
Since Wednesday afternoon, the entire district has been experiencing continuous rain, due to which the roads have become rivers, and the drains are overflowing.
Following waterlogging in colonies and slums in low-lying areas, their connection with the main road has been cut off.
Many colonies have been submerged and the movement of people has been disrupted, and they are facing many problems.
No arrangements have been made by the Municipal Council so far, despite the passage of almost a day.
However, the farmers in the region are relieved as the rainwater has filled up their fields, and it will be a boon for their crops.
Meanwhile, a drop in temperature has also been recorded due to the rain.
The vehicular movement has also slowed down on NH 21 due to the rain, disrupting traffic movement.
The weather department had issued a yellow alert for that region for the next 24 hours and the district might witness moderate to heavy rain or thunderstorms with overcast skies. There are also possibilities of continuous heavy rain in a day or two. (ANI)
