Congress sacks former Uttrakhand unit chief Kishor Upadhyay

The interim order and dispute have triggered a broader political row as leaders from Congress and BJP also weighed in on the ongoing tensions.

The Chief Guest of the program flagged off the bike yatra from Varanasi to his birthplace, Vadnagar, organised at Rudraksh International Cooperation and Conference Centre, Sigra, on Thursday. In an official order, the Election Commission directed that neither of the two groups led by Roy and Banerjee shall be permitted to use the name of the party “All India Trinamool Congress” simpliciter.
