Gaya (Bihar) [India], Apr 2 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said the Congress party hates the labour class and looks down upon those who do menial jobs to sustain their livelihood.
Referring to the Congress party as ‘Mahamilavat,’ he said: “The ‘Mahamilavat’ hates everyone who does his job. They hate 'Chowkidar', 'Chaiwala', 'Jhadoowala', 'Safaiwala.' They cannot see a person prospering and progressing in his life by doing his work. This is the only reason why the 'Chowkidar' is being abused," said Prime Minister Modi, while addressing an election rally.
He said that before 2014 there were bomb blasts all across the country in which thousands of innocents were being killed, but after the NDA came to power at the Centre all this stopped.
“Before 2014, in various cities across the nation, there were bomb blasts in which innocent people were killed. The blasts occurred in Hyderabad, Delhi, Ayodhya, Kashi, Jammu and elsewhere,” he said.
“The Indian Mujahedeen and Hizbul Mujahideen created an atmosphere of terror but they all went into silos after 2104. Where these sleeper cells have gone? The police are the same. The intelligence agencies are the same. The information network is the same. Skills are the same. Then what has changed,” asked Prime Minister Modi.
“They all have been silenced not by Narendra Modi but by your vote that you gave to us. The Chowkidar's government was formed in Delhi and that changed the situation,” he said.
He alleged that the Congress government 'set free' the terrorist that the security forces arrested for the sake of politics of 'vote bank' and 'appeasement.'
“There was no shortcoming in our security forces. The shortcoming was in political will and freedom. Our security forces arrested terrorists risking their lives but the Congress government set them free for the politics of vote bank and appeasement,” he said.
“The Congress leader said that I am 'Chowkidar' of the toilet. In Kumbh Mela, when I washed the feat of Safaikaramchari (sweepers), they hurled all sorts of abuses on me. This is an insult to all those who wash toilets, an insult to those who work hard to earn their living, an insult to the poor,” said Prime Minister Modi.
Starting from April 11, Bihar will go to polls for 40 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases. The counting of votes will take place on May 23. (ANI)
