Congress giving silent support to Udai Bhan's derogatory remarks: Uttarakhand CM Dhami

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 24 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday accused the Congress of supporting the derogatory remarks made by Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan. 
Reacting to the derogatory remarks of Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan targeted at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday said the top leadership of Congress is giving silent support to such remarks.
"Congress workers must condemn such comments and senior leaders of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and party chief are silent on this and this shows their (Congress) culture and by keeping silent, they are supporting such comments," said Dhami.
Earlier on Saturday, Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan used derogatory language to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day taking to the social media platform, X, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar slammed Congress for the statement and said, "The party steeped in nepotism and people enslaved by the mentality of nepotism will not be able to understand that Prime Minister and I consider 140 crore people of the country and 3.25 crore people of Haryana as my family. It is not me but the people of our family who will answer to Congress."
In a viral video, the Haryana Congress chief can be heard using abusive words while referring to the Prime Minister and the Haryana Chief Minister. (ANI)
