Congress calls Naxals 'revolutionaries' for vote: PM Modi

Bharatpur (Rajasthan) [India], Nov 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress of referring Naxals as revolutionaries for the sake of votes and asked people not to vote for the party as it supports Naxals who kill soldiers.
Addressing a public rally here, as part of his election campaign in poll-bound Rajasthan, Prime Minister Modi: "Naamdar, his courtiers and the Rajya Sabha MPs of Congress party call Naxalites and Maoists as Krantikari. They stoop to such low level only for the sake of votes in elections. Our jawans are killed by these elements yet it makes no difference to the Congress," said the Prime Minister.
"In their government, before 2014, bomb blasts took place every day across the nation. Bomb blasts occurred in Ajmer, Ayodha, Varanasi, Delhi, Bombay, in trains, in temples, in hotels and almost everywhere. All this stopped only after BJP came to power," he added.
The Prime Minister also hit out at the Congress party for questioning the surgical strike saying, "Our jawans went there with arms and ammunition and not with the cameras in their hands. The Congress party and 'Naamdar' had a problem with the surgical strike as they have nothing to do with the respect for the nation and the Army; they only care for the chair (seat of power)," said Prime Minister Modi.
He further said that the Congress has only ruined the nation. "Their four generations have ruined the country. It is now your responsibility to take their 'hisab (performance details)' in the elections," he added.
Rajasthan will go for polls on December 7 for its 200-member assembly while the counting of votes will take place on December 11. (ANI)
