College professor shot dead in Nalanda

Nalanda (Bihar) [India], Oct 28 (ANI): A college professor was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Nalanda district of Bihar on Sunday morning. The man was shot early morning when he went for a morning walk.

Nalanda (Bihar) [India], Oct 28 (ANI): A college professor was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Nalanda district of Bihar on Sunday morning. 
The deceased, identified as Arvind Kumar, was a professor at the PMS College (Pairu Mahto Somari College) and a resident of Jalalpur area in the city.
Kumar, who was shot at while he was on a morning walk, died on the spot. His body has been sent for postmortem to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital.
Speaking about the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said the police is yet to ascertain the motive behind the attack. "He (Arvind) did not have any dispute with anyone, we are investigating the matter," he added. 
Furthermore, the kin of the deceased asserted that the professor did not have any enmity with anyone.
Nalanda Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rajesh Kumar said a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the matter. (ANI)
