Coach of Howrah-bound passenger train catches fire

Kurukshetra (Haryana) [India], Nov 27 (ANI): A fire broke out in the front coach of Kalka-Howrah Express between Dhirpur to Dhoda Khedi Railway Station near Kurukshetra on Tuesday at around 02:55 am.

Kurukshetra (Haryana) [India], Nov 27 (ANI): A fire broke out in the front coach of Kalka-Howrah Express between Dhirpur to Dhoda Khedi Railway Station near Kurukshetra on Tuesday at around 02:55 am.
The coach next to loco in train number 12312 was immediately cordoned off after the train was halted. The fire brigade was immediately pressed into action and doused the flames.
As per the on-duty Guard, no casualties have been reported. However, six passengers who suffered breathing difficulties have been taken to a nearby hospital.
Services on the up and down lines have now resumed. (ANI)
