CM Yogi to participate in special event by Basic Education Dept in Gorakhpur

In order to give impetus to the campaign of making students in council schools more skilled and smart, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take part in a special event by the Basic Education Department, said an official statement from UP government on Monday.

Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 23 (ANI): In order to give impetus to the campaign of making students in council schools more skilled and smart, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take part in a special event by the Basic Education Department, said an official statement from UP government on Monday.
During this event, he will hand out tablets to teachers for teaching, inaugurate the establishment of smart classes, distribute wonder boxes for pre-primary education, and distribute assistive devices to divyang children, added the statement.
A special event at the divisional level will happen on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium. During this event, Chief Minister Yogi will distribute 14,360 tablets to teachers in schools across four districts in the Gorakhpur division (Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Deoria, and Kushinagar), read the official statement further.
CM will also inaugurate ICT (Information and Communication Technology) labs in 64 development blocks within the Gorakhpur division. During the event, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the establishment of smart classes in 1,086 council schools.
According to information received from the Basic Education Department, the Chief Minister will distribute over 3,780 Wonder Boxes developed by ITI Gandhinagar to the co-located Anganwadi centers for pre-primary education, mentioned the statement.
Additionally, he will also give things like cranes, Braille kits, hearing aids, tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, and special chairs to kids with disabilities. At the event, 190 of these items will be given to 130 divyang children. (ANI)
