Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 8 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday held the 'Janta Darshan' program at the premises of Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur district of the state.
In the 'Janta Darshan' program, CM Yogi addressed the grievances of the public. A long queue of people was spotted during the program, which especially comprised women.
On September 7, CM Yogi along with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar visited and offered prayers at the Goraknath Temple.
Earlier on September 7, Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the first Sainik School in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He was accompanied by his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi.
After that, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the Shooting Range at Sainik School Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, where Vice President Dhankar and CM Yogi tried shooting.
CM Yogi frequently conducts the 'Janata Darshan' program. Earlier, on August 4, CM Yogi Adityanath held 'Janata Darshan' in Gorakhpur, where he addressed the grievances of the people who had come from different districts.
The CM instructed officials to carefully listen to the complaints and directed the concerned officials to resolve the problems immediately.
During the 'Janata Darshan', the citizens presented a range of issues to which CM listened patiently and forwarded their letters to the concerned authorities present there and issued necessary directions for the speedy and satisfactory disposal of their issues while at the same time assuring people that no injustice would be done to anyone under his tenure.
After a hiatus during the Model Code of Conduct for the last Lok Sabha election, the Janata Darshan began again on June 6.
Soon after becoming the Chief Minister in 2017, CM Yogi started the Janata Darshan with the primary aim of resolving people's complaints and grievances as soon as possible. (ANI)
