CM Yogi expresses gratitude to PM Modi for accepting invitation to attend consecration of Ram Lalla

As the consecration of the new idol of Ram Lalla in the new temple being built at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, 2024, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi said on Wednesday that acceptance of invitation by the PM is a matter of respecting the sentiments of crores of Ram devotees.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 25 (ANI): As the consecration of the new idol of Ram Lalla in the new temple being built at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will take place on January 22, 2024, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi said on Wednesday that acceptance of invitation by the PM is a matter of respecting the sentiments of crores of Ram devotees.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present on this occasion.
On Wednesday, the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth area met PM Modi and invited him to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of consecration of Shri Ram temple, which he happily accepted.
Expressing happiness over this, CM Yogi termed it an honour to the sentiments of crores of Ram devotees.
CM Yogi expressed his gratitude to PM Modi through a couplet from Ramcharit Manas on social media account X.
"As a result of the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Shri Ayodhya Dham, the beloved city of Lord Shri Ram, on the basis of Sanatan faith, the much-awaited celebration of the life-consecration of Shri Ram Lala, filled with joy, happiness, pride and self-satisfaction, was organised with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji to millions of Ram devotees. Will reflect the feelings of. Jai-Jai Sita Ram," Yogi posted on X.
It is noteworthy that 4,000 saints, Mahatmas of the country and 2,500 eminent personalities of the society will witness this historic occasion.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday received a formal invitation for the consecration ceremony of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
Calling it a day full of "emotions", PM Modi said that he feels "blessed" and that it is his good fortune that he will be witnessing such a historic occasion.
"Today is a day full of emotions. Recently, the officials of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust came to meet me at my residence. He has invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of the consecration of Ram temple," PM Modi wrote on X (Formerly Twitter)
"I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that, in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion," his post read.
Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Janambhoomi Trust, said on Wednesday that the idol of Lord Ram will be installed at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 next year.
It is pertinent to note that the Supreme Court's verdict in 2019 on the Ayodhya dispute paved the way for the construction of a grand Ram temple. Following the apex court verdict, the centre set up the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' Trust to take all decisions regarding the construction of a magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The construction of the temple has been progressing at a steady pace under the supervision of the Trust. The idol of Ram Lalla will be in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
