Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 30 (ANI): Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took stock of the arrangements made for the affected at the temporary relief camp Government Inter College Vinak Khal in Tehri on Tuesday.
He also directed making proper arrangements for children, pregnant women, elderly, and the disabled in the relief camp. During this, the Chief Minister met the disaster-affected people in the disaster relief camp, inquired about their well-being and listened to their problems.
The Chief Minister said that he has been continuously getting information about the situation since the day of the disaster. Expressing deep condolences for the loss of life in the disaster, he prayed for the peace of the departed souls and strength for the affected family to bear this hour of grief.

The Chief Minister said that due to the geographical conditions of Uttarakhand, natural disasters always present challenges. Before this, along with preparation, it is necessary to control the disaster in the shortest possible time with alertness and vigilance at the time of disaster, which the district administration has shown.
He also praised the efforts of the district administration to provide quick relief to the victims.
The Chief Minister said that in this hour of disaster, the Government of India, the State Government is standing with the affected. The process of displacement in Tingarh village has started. Work will be done by making a plan after surveying other villages.
The works of security wall, school, bridge, embankment, damaged by the disaster will be done soon. Lack of funds will not come in the way of disaster protection work. He said to cooperate with each other with patience in this difficult time of disaster.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to be vigilant about the houses coming under the threat. In this hour of disaster, the public representatives were also asked to help in every possible way. The disaster affected people should not face any problem and bringing their life back on track as before should be our priority.
District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that a geological survey has been done for the rehabilitation and displacement of Tingarh village, and in-principle approval has been received. The process of land identification is being done. People will be rehabilitated gradually on the basis of land availability.
The District Magistrate said that the process of displacement of 28 families of village Kot is in progress. A temporary cowshed has been identified for about 100 animals of Tingarh. (ANI)
