CM Dhami instructs officials to ensure convenience of devotees during 'Maa Purnagiri Fair'

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with the officials and took stock of the compliance of the instructions given earlier and directed the officials to ensure the convenience of devotees in Maa Purnagiri Dham fair, informed an official release.

Champawat (Uttarakhand) [India], June 2 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with the officials and took stock of the compliance of the instructions given earlier and directed the officials to ensure the convenience of devotees in Maa Purnagiri Dham fair, informed an official release.
CM Dhami also received detailed information regarding drinking water, irrigation, electricity supply, road traffic system and convenience of devotees at the fair in Tanakpur (Champawat).

The Chief Minister directed to ensure adequate electricity supply to the public as well as to make arrangements for drinking water through tankers and other means in areas where there is a shortage of drinking water.
In view of the monsoon season, CM Dhami directed the Irrigation Department officials to monitor the water level of the rivers as well as remain on alert mode. The Public Works Department was instructed to maintain the roads of the district and ensure the quality of the roads under construction.

He also directed the officials to keep the basic facilities like parking, drinking water, and electricity in the Maa Purnagiri Mela area completely smooth. He said that Purnagiri Mela is the main source of livelihood for the local people, so we are also working on extending the duration of the fair, the release added. (ANI)
