CISF jawan deployed at Delhi Metro tests positive for coronavirus

New Delhi [India], April 30 (ANI): A CISF personnel deployed for security at a Delhi Metro station, was tested COVID-19 positive today, informed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials on Thursday.

New Delhi [India], April 30 (ANI): A CISF personnel deployed for security at a Delhi Metro station, was tested COVID-19 positive today, informed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials on Thursday.
The jawan was performing duty at a metro station on a rotational basis.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in CISF in Delhi has reached three now, the other two jawans were deployed at Delhi airport, the official added.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation closed its services after Prime Minister Modi announced countrywide lockdown in March, in view of the COVID-19 crisis.
The lockdown which was initially meant for 21-days was later extended till May 3, and all public services were closed for the duration except the essential ones. (ANI)
