Chief Secy Radha Raturi attends 9th Governing Council meeting

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 15 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi participated on Monday in the 9th Governing Council meeting held under the chairmanship of the Cabinet Secretary.
She attended the meeting through a virtual medium at the Secretariat.
On this occasion, the agenda of the upcoming NITI Aayog meeting (that is to be held on July 27) was discussed in detail.
The main theme of the meeting was "Developed India".
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi informed that all the departments of the state government are fully prepared for the upcoming meeting of NITI Aayog.
Secretary of Planning R Meenakshi Sundaram was also present with Chief Secretary Radha Raturi in this meeting.
NITI Aayog's ninth governing council meeting on July 27 will discuss the government's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2024. The meeting, to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is expected to be attended by chief ministers of all states and lieutenant governors of union territories besides the top minister of the Modi cabinet.
The Governing Council is the premier body tasked with evolving a shared vision of national priorities and strategies, with the active involvement of States, in shaping the development narrative. The Governing Council, which embodies the objectives of cooperative federalism, presents a platform to discuss inter-sectoral, inter-departmental, and federal issues to accelerate the implementation of the national development agenda.
So far, several meetings of the Governing Council have been held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister with Chief Ministers/Lt Governors of the States/UTs and other members of the Governing Council. (ANI)
