Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], November 2 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday attended the state's 24th Foundation Day and Diwali celebration at Ekatma Path in Nava Raipur.
According to a press release, 11,000 diyas were lit with Vedic chants and rituals at the event. The event symbolised the state's cultural heritage and unity, showcasing Chhattisgarh's rich cultural traditions. The radiance of the diyas (earthen lamps) infused new energy and enthusiasm that will elevate the state's glory.

During the event, 11,000 diyas were lit together at Ekatma Path. The Chhattisgarh Foundation Day program in Nava Raipur featured spectacular fireworks and colourful lights that thrilled everyone. Melodious music further enhanced the ambience. At the event, attractive rangoli designs were created, and people took selfies at designated points with Foundation Day symbolic markers, expressing their joy.

As part of the celebrations, labourers and sanitation workers near the newly constructed CBD railway station in Nava Raipur were distributed sweets on the occasion of Diwali. This beautiful initiative honours state employees and recognizes their significant contributions.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, MLAs Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, Guru Khushwant Saheb, Indra Kumar Sahu, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Secretary to the Chief Minister P. Dayanand and Basavaraju S. along with many public representatives, senior officers, dignitaries were present at the event. (ANI)
