Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh inaugurates Jan Samvad Center meant for feedback on government policies

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], September 18 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Monday inaugurated a Jan Samvad Center for the people, who will be asked to give their feedback on the government schemes through them.

Under this scheme, the commoners will be taken on call and asked to give feedback on the government policies and schemes like toilet construction, electricity supply, village and district school's getting timely funds, items received at ration shops etc.

Speaking to reporters here, Raman Singh said, "This is a one-on-one conversation, which will involve a Jan Samvad Centre and commoners of small districts to give their feedback on government schemes. With this, we will not just move a step ahead with development, but will also gain the people's trust. This center will cater to numerous loopholes in the state and that is how we will plan measures to solve them."

At the inaugural event, the chief minister called Korba's Parsai Ram and asked questions regarding the facilities that the people of his village have received.

The Jan Samvad Center has more than 150 people, of which 50 are living in the vicinity of Raipur.

Following this, data will be prepared and handed over to the head officials to look into the problems that need to be solved. A work plan will be made thereafter.

The Jan Samvad Center employees will call more than 100 people every day to take their feedback.

The Chief Minister further interacted with the employees at the center. (ANI)
