Chhattisgarh: 6 jawans injured in encounter with Naxal

Sukma (Chhattisgarh)[India], Feb.18 (ANI): At least six security personnel were injured in an ongoing encounter in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on Sunday.

Heavy exchange of fire between security forces and Naxals is still underway at Elarmadgu village under Bhejji police station limits.

The injured personnel have been rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Special DG, anti-naxal operation DM Awasthi confirmed that four DRG jawans and two STF jawans have been injured in the encounter. (ANI)
