Chennai: Union Minister Anurag Thakur encourages students to master skills, manifest dreams

During his speech at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur, Union Minister on Thursday started his address in Tamil by asking the students: "How are you all?" He urged them to do physical activities to live peacefully and be a part of a team.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], April 20 (ANI): Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur on Thursday addressed students who arrived at a college event in Tamil Nadu's Chennai.
He encouraged students from other states and countries and urged them to master skills and manifest their dreams.
During his speech at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur, Union Minister on Thursday started his address in Tamil by asking the students: "How are you all?" He urged them to do physical activities to live peacefully and be a part of a team.
Anurag Thakur said, "Ups and downs come in life and if you are strong physically and mentally, you can succeed in life."
He also encouraged the students to participate in sports, saying that it will make the students' lives better.
"Tamil Nadu is the state where top brains in the world come from; even at least two scientists would be at the top at the global level," said Anurag Thakur, adding, "You all have to study about C V Raman, too. It will help you to come up in life."
Anurag Thakur also said, "I threw up a lot of job opportunities at northern states like HP (Himachal Pradesh) and other states, I look forward to working with some of you in this northern parts of India." (ANI)
