CBSE declares NEET 2018 results

In an interesting turn of events, a woman who was declared 'brain-dead' at a hospital in Bareilly, came back to life after a car she was travelling in struck a pothole, as her husband claimed on Wednesday.

The response from the student community was overwhelming. A total of 2409 students cast their votes in the referendum. 2181 students (90.54%) voted against the continuation of the Vice Chancellor in JNU. 207 students (8.59%) voted in favour of her continuation. 21 votes (0.87%) were declared invalid.

Addressing reporters after the inauguration in Shimla, Sukhu said robotic surgery has already shown encouraging results in the state, noting that around 150 operations have been successfully conducted in the past seven to eight months at the Super Speciality Hospital in Chamyana.

The Court noted that under Clause 2.3 of the NBEMS handbook, only candidates currently pursuing a postgraduate course are barred from admission to Sponsored Post MBBS DNB seats. Since the petitioner had already relinquished her previously allotted seat and was not pursuing any PG course, the Court observed that the clause prima facie appeared inapplicable to her case.

Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari on Tuesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of having an anti-tribal mindset and said that the Congress party would approach the Supreme Court against the decision to declare the election of Congress leader Mukesh Malhotra from Vijaypur Assembly constituency "null and void".
