New Delhi [India], September 3 (ANI): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a series of surprise inspections across 27 schools in Rajasthan and Delhi on Tuesday to curb the menace of "dummy schools."
This initiative aimed to ensure that schools affiliated with the Board strictly adhere to the norms and by-laws set by CBSE.
The findings from these inspections will be reviewed comprehensively, and appropriate actions will be taken in cases of non-compliance, CBSE stated.
"A total of 27 teams, each comprising a CBSE officer and a principal from a CBSE-affiliated school, carried out the inspections. The process was meticulously planned to take place simultaneously across all selected schools within a short timeframe to maintain an element of surprise," the statement read.
This approach was adopted to ensure that the information gathered reflects the schools' everyday operations and compliance.
CBSE emphasized its dedication to maintaining high standards in education and expects all affiliated schools to comply strictly with its guidelines.
The Board reiterated its commitment to rigorous monitoring and announced that it would continue to conduct surprise inspections to ensure affiliated schools uphold the quality and standards expected by CBSE. (ANI)
