Cabinet approves 'Director' post for six new AIIMS

New Delhi [India], Oct 24 (ANI): The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the creation of the post of a Director for the new All India Institute for Medical Science (AIIMS) at Rae Bareli, Gorakhpur, Bathinda, Guwahati, Bilaspur, and Deoghar.

New Delhi [India], Oct 24 (ANI): The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the creation of the post of a Director for the new All India Institute for Medical Science (AIIMS) at Rae Bareli, Gorakhpur, Bathinda, Guwahati, Bilaspur, and Deoghar.
The basic pay for the Director has been capped at Rs 2, 25, 000 (fixed), with additional non-practicing allowance not exceeding Rs 2, 37, 500.
The Director will be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the institute and will be in charge of the overall administration of the institute. He/She will also be tasked with the allocation of duties to the officers and employees of the institute. (ANI)
