BSF finds drone carrying narcotics near Amritsar border
The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered yet another Pakistani drone with one packet suspected to be heroin from a paddy field on the outskirts of Dhaone Khurd village in Amritsar.

Amritsar (Punjab) [India], October 3 (ANI): The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered yet another Pakistani drone with one packet suspected to be heroin from a paddy field on the outskirts of Dhaone Khurd village in Amritsar.
On October 3 during evening hours, on specific information, a search operation was launched by BSF at the outskirts of Dhanoe Khurd village.
"Further, during the search, at about 4.50 pm, a drone along with one packet suspected to be heroin (Gross weight - appx 470 gms) wrapped in yellow adhesive tape with an attached iron hook to secure the package to the drone, was recovered from a paddy field on the outskirts of Dhaone Khurd village," BSF said in a release.
The recovered Quadcopter drone (Model - DJI Matrix 350 RTK) was a model made in China, the statement added.
Earlier the BSF recovered a drone with one packet, suspected to be Narcotics from a paddy field in the Kalsian Khurd area of Tarn Taran district of Punjab. On October 2 during late evening hours, forward-deployed BSF troops intercepted the movement of a drone. (ANI)
