Sirohi (Rajasthan) [India], September 22 (ANI): After the two-day visit to the global summit organised by Brahma Kumaris in Rajasthan's Sirohi, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa on Friday said that the role of Brahma Kumaris is invaluable in taking our ancient civilisational values across the world.
"What began as a divine vision, the Brahma Kumaris have radiated globally. Their role is invaluable in taking our ancient civilisational values across the world. I joined the Global Summit 2023 at their Mount Abu headquarters today," Sarma posted on X.
In another post the Assam CM said, "During my two-day visit to Rajasthan, I witnessed the people’s yearning for Parivartan and the Congress Government’s loyalty towards just one Parivar. Under Hon’ble PM’s leadership, the BJP is marching towards a landslide victory."
Addressing the Global Summit in Sirohi, the Chief Minister said that spirituality and universal brotherhood emphasised by 'Bharatbhoomi' have been basis for promoting the concept of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam'.
"The spirituality and universal brotherhood that 'Bharatbhoomi' emphasises have been a cornerstone in furthering its ethos of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam' as propagated in the Upanishads. Bharat has a wealth of pilgrimage sites associated with various religions. The sacred places draw millions of pilgrims and seekers every year fostering a deep connection to the spiritual tradition...Figures like Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Adi Shankaracharya and various saints and gurus have left a lasting legacy to mankind," he said.
Earlier on Thursday, the Assam Chief Minister said that instead of resolving differences with Congress leader Sachin Pilot, Congress and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot kept its own MLAs in a 5-star hotel for 35 days in the year 2020.
Addressing a public rally in Kota, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "Instead of talking to Sachin Pilot over their differences, Congress kept its MLAs in a 5-star hotel for 35 days. To gain power at any cost, Congress resorted to corruption. No party has done this kind of act." He further targeted Rajasthan Government over the prices of petrol and diesel.
Rajasthan is among the five states that will go to assembly elections later this year along with Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram. (ANI)
