Boat capsises in UP's Baghpat, 19 dead

Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 14 (ANI): As many as 19 people died on Thursday after a boat carrying 60 people capsised in river Yamuna in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh.

Boat capsises in UP's Baghpat, 19 dead

Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 14 (ANI): As many as 19 people died on Thursday after a boat carrying 60 people capsised in river Yamuna in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh.

The rescue operation by the police is still underway.

Meanwhile, the District Manager of Baghpat, Bhawani Singh, reported that 19 people have died in the accident.

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a compensation of Rs. 2 lakh for the kin of deceased. (ANI)
