BMC cuts 10% water supply to Mumbai

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Nov 14 (ANI): Starting Thursday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will implement a 10 per cent cut in water supply to Mumbai.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Nov 14 (ANI): Starting Thursday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will implement a 10 per cent cut in water supply to Mumbai.
The decision has been taken keeping in view of the less amount of rainfall received this season.
Besides Mumbai, the water cut will also be effective in Bhiwandi, Thane and Kalyan, a statement from BMC read.
The BMC reportedly supplies 3,800 million litres of water every day to Mumbai. (ANI)
