New Delhi [India], July 3 (ANI): BJYM national president Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday led protests in Delhi against Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for his 'Hindu' remark.

Surya led a march of thousands of Delhi BJP workers to the Congress headquarters in Delhi, demanding an unconditional apology from Rahul Gandhi. He was later detained and released.
While addressing the gathering, Tejasvi Surya stated, "By calling all Hindus violent, he has belittled the entire society.
"This is not the first time that Rahul Gandhi has cast such aspersions on the Hindu community. UPA government earlier attempted to create a false bogey of Saffron terror," as per press release from the BJYM.
"A WikiLeaks dump revealed that Rahul Gandhi, in a dinner with US diplomats in July 2009, said the growth of radicalised Hindu groups was a bigger threat than Pakistan's terror outfit LeT," the release stated.
"UPA ministers P Chidambaram and Sushil Kumar Shinde fabricated a saffron terror plot and tried to pin 26/11 attacks on Hindu groups. Shinde also claimed RSS camps promote Hindu terror, while Digvijay Singh released a book '26/11 RSS ki Saazish' to further the conspiracy. This is part of a global conspiracy to defame Hindus and portray them as perpetrators of violence, while reality is Hindus have always been victims of aggression. Rahul Gandhi has been mocking Hindus through his career. We demand an apology and will continue our fight for justice," the BJYM release said.
On Tuesday, Surya asked BJYM units across the country to hold extensive protests in all organisational districts of India, condemning the disgraceful remarks made by Rahul Gandhi.
"The protests in every state saw overwhelming participation from people of all walks of life, standing in solidarity with BJYM karyakartas to vehemently oppose the vilification of Hinduism by Rahul Gandhi. The gatherings were a powerful display of unity, with voices from every corner of the nation uniting to reject divisive narratives that seek to undermine the ethos of pluralism and tolerance that India stands for," as per the release.
In continuation of these protests, today Tejasvi Surya led a strong protest in Delhi, where he, along with BJYM karyakartas, protested outside the Congress headquarters. During this protest, State President of BJP Delhi Virendra Sachdeva, MP Manoj Tiwari, and MP Bansuri Swaraj also addressed the gathering.
"BJYM demands an immediate and unconditional apology from Rahul Gandhi to the entire Hindu community for his inflammatory remarks. It is deeply concerning that a leader of his stature would resort to such divisive language," the release stated.
"BJYM stands firm in its commitment to safeguarding the interests of all communities and ensuring that such divisive narratives are unequivocally rejected. We call upon all right-thinking citizens to join us in condemning Rahul Gandhi's hate speech and upholding the values of harmony and fraternity that define our great nation," as per the release.
