Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], April 15 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma praised the BJP's manifesto and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'gurantees' labeling the manifesto as a 'visionary' blueprint crafted with the welfare of the nation's citizens in mind.
Addressing a Press conference in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said, "The BJP manifesto is crafted with the aspirations of millions of Indians in mind, serving as a visionary document shaped by and for the public, addressing their various concerns and needs".
"The 2024 elections are centered around Prime Minister Modi's commitments. Unlike past practices where political parties merely made promises without fulfilling them, PM Modi has consistently delivered on his pledges. His accomplishments from 2014 and 2019 stand as proof, and his promises for 2024 are evident. This 'Sankalp Patra' serves as a guarantee, ensuring that his commitments will be fulfilled," he added.
The Rajasthan Chief Minister stated that the BJP's manifesto encompasses all segments of society and stands as a golden document of a developed India.
Sharma criticized the opposition, claiming that they lack clear vision, leadership, and intentions, "Neeti Neta and Neeyat".
"In the last ten years, BJP has kept serving the people, poor and the needy. In 2014, India which stood at the 11th position in terms of economy, now stands at the fifth position, and in coming tenure of Prime Minister Modi, India will become the third largest economy," Sharma asserted.
Sharma underscored the trustworthiness of Modi's promises, describing them as a "24 carat gold guarantee" backed by the Prime Minister's track record of fulfilling previous commitments. He pointed to significant achievements from the 2019 manifesto, including the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Mandir, and initiatives such as the Gareeb Kalyan Yojana.
The BJP released its poll manifesto on Sunday with the tagline "Modi ki Guarantee," with a focus on more development, women's welfare and a roadmap for "Viksit Bharat" (developed India). The manifesto released by the party promised 'One Nation One Election' and "single electoral roll."
In its election promise, the party also aims to make the country the third largest economy in the world. The manifesto set the goal of making India a "global manufacturing hub" and was unveiled in the presence of PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath singh, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and party President JP Nadda.
