Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], December 15 (ANI): Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in-charge Tarun Chugh said on Friday that the party is working to ensure that the schemes of the central government reach last-mile citizens.
"Today, we held a meeting on the implementation of the 'Vishwakarma' scheme and the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp scheme in Telangana. The BJP is consistently working to ensure that the central government schemes reach last-mile citizens across the country", Chugh told ANI.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a nationwide initiative to inform and empower citizens about government schemes.
It is being undertaken across the country to attain the saturation of flagship schemes of the government by ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
Heaping praise on the party workers, the state in-charge said, "The BJP is a party that works consistently. We are proud of our workers who brought us good results nationwide due to their dedication and hard work. In the Lok Sabha polls in 2024, we will fight all 17 seats in Telangana and win".
Meanwhile, reacting to a viral video that showed Telangana CM Revath Reddy's brother going in a police convoy, Tarun Chugh said, "The BRS, the Congress and the AIMIM, are the parties which are led by families. They only work for their families. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers 135 crore Indians as his family."
A political heat emerged in the southern state after a video showing Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's brother, Anumula Krishna Reddy, escorted by a police convoy.
BJP leader T Raja Singh said, "It is wrong because his brother is neither an MLA nor an MP...It is illegal...All the ex-MLAs security has been removed. Former CM KCR's security has been reduced to Y+...On what basis was his brother escorted?"
Meanwhile, BRS leader Krishank also targeted CM Reddy.
"He is not a Minister, not even an MLA, But he is escorted by Police Vehicle... Because he is Chief Minister's brother?" said the BRS leader in a post on 'X'.
"Is this Congress's Prajala Paalana?" he further asked. (ANI)
