"BJP seems to be successful in winning confidence of people once again...": MP CM Mohan Yadav on initial trends of assembly polls results

"Seeing the initial trends of election results, I am satisfied that the BJP seems to be successful in winning the confidence of people once again as per its expectations and hopes; be it Maharashtra assembly polls or Jharkhand assembly elections or any other by-elections. Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 23 (ANI): Reacting to the initial trends of Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections results, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seemed to be successful in winning the confidence of people once again according to its expectation and hopes.
He further extended greetings to the public highlighting that the people are expressing their full faith in the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Seeing the initial trends of election results, I am satisfied that the BJP seems to be successful in winning the confidence of people once again as per its expectations and hopes; be it Maharashtra assembly polls or Jharkhand assembly elections or any other by-elections. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the public is expressing full faith in the BJP. I extend greetings from my side," CM Yadav told ANI.
Vote counting of Maharashtra assembly elections, Jharkhand assembly polls and by-elections across 15 states is underway today. Counting began at 8 AM on Saturday.
As per the initial results, the Mahayuti alliance is leading in 220 seats, with the BJP leading in 128 seats, driving the charge in Maharashtra. The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena (SHS) follows closely with 55 seats. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, is leading in 35 seats, while the Rashtriya Yuva Swabhiman Party (RSHYVSWBHM) is leading in 2 seats.
Meanwhile, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is trailing, with a lead in 51 seats. The Indian National Congress (INC), part of the MVA, is leading in 20 seats. The Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) is leading in 16 seats, and the Nationalist Congress Party - Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) is leading in 13 seats. The Samajwadi Party (SP) too is in the lead at 2 seats.
Meanwhile, the JMM-led Mahagathbandhan has crossed the halfway mark as the alliance leads on 50 seats in the Jharkhand Assembly election, as of 10.40 am, according to the Election Commission of India.
The primary contest in the Jharkhand assembly polls is between the Mahagathbandhan and BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
The ruling JMM-led Mahagathbandhan Alliance includes Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) comprises the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)), and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). (ANI)
