"Discussions were held on cleanliness and security of markets during the Diwali festival and it was decided that a coordination committee of all departments will be formed which will meet every month and with immediate effect, an agenda and working road map has been prepared to clean the markets from tomorrow, to organize traffic in the market, to ensure that no incident of any kind takes place in the markets," he told ANI.
"All have unanimously decided that security is very important and if extra private security has to be deployed, then that will also be done...," the BJP MP added.
Rajeev Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Traffic North-East who attended the meeting told ANI, "...Maximum deployment of traffic staff is being done at this time so that the traffic regulation is proper and there is no congestion of any kind."
DCP Kumar added that the vehicles which are 10- 15 years old are being seized.
