BJP Minority Front to launch "Dr Kalam Startup Award" today

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Fronts is set to launch the "Dr Kalam Startup Award" on Monday, (August 12). The award will be presented to minority youths at the BJP Headquarters on Monday in the presence of senior party leaders, including Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and BJP National Minority Morcha chief Jamal Siddiqui.

New Delhi [India], August 12 (ANI): Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Fronts is set to launch the "Dr Kalam Startup Award" on Monday, (August 12).
The award will be presented to minority youths at the BJP Headquarters on Monday in the presence of senior party leaders, including Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and BJP National Minority Morcha chief Jamal Siddiqui.
Additional award ceremonies will also be organised in 14 states nationwide. Seven minority youths from each state will be honoured for their exceptional skills and entrepreneurial spirit by starting their own ventures.
"24000 minority youths from across the country have put their nominations for the award. Award functions will be organised in 14 states of the country. Seven minority youths will be selected from each state," said Siddiqui.
In the award ceremony in Delhi, the Union Minister, senior BJP leaders, Chairman of the National Minority Commission and National President of the Minority Front, under the guidance of BJP National General Secretary and National In-charge of Minority Front Dushyant Gautam, identified minority youths who will be awarded the "Dr Kalam Startup Award" based on critical observation by the Central Investigation Committee.
BJP Minority Morcha National President Jamal Siddiqui told the media, "On the occasion of Kalam Sahab's death anniversary, as per the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda, Minority Morcha had announced to give the "Dr Kalam Startup Award" to minority youths. 24000 minority youths from across the country were nominated for the award through social media till August 8. On Monday, the occasion of 'International Youth Day', BJP Minority Morcha will organise an award function in 14 states in which seven youths from one state will be awarded the "Dr Kalam Startup Award"."
Siddique stated that 900 youth from Delhi-NCR had registered, of which 50 have been shortlisted out of them. Seven youths from one state will be selected and will be given the award.
Notably, on the occasion of Dr Kalam's 9th death anniversary on July 27, the BJP Minority Front, under the leadership of the Front's National President Jamal Siddiqui, launched a campaign across the country and paid tribute to Kalam through various programs at the district level.
The Minority Front's President Jamal Siddiqui started the campaign on July 27 by paying tribute to APJ Abdul Kalam by offering flowers at his mazar from his house in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. Dr Kalam's family members were also present at the event and prayers were offered for the progress and peace of the country. (ANI)
