Gurdaspur (Punjab) [India], September 17 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said on Sunday that we will be visiting Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib via Kartarpur Sahib corridor and we will pray for the happiness of India, Punjab and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"We are going to visit Gurudwara Kartarpur Saheb via Kartarpur Sahib corridor...we will pray for happiness and prosperity of India, Punjab and PM Modi...we wish PM a very happy birthday...we will pray for his long life and happiness," said Sirsa.
He further added, "This corridor was an impossible task which was made possible by the blessings of Guru Nanak Dev...PM Modi made it possible so we request the Indian government and Pakistan government that the visit to Kartarpur Sahib should even further be simplified in terms of passport checking."
Sirsa responded to the question of resuming business with Pakistan and said business can be carried on between the two nations but not until Pakistan puts an end to terrorist activities from its side.
"There should be business between the two countries but soldiers also raise questions on the terrorist attacks from Pakistan and these attacks are not acceptable so Pakistan will have to put an end to such terrorist activities before the business can be carried on between the two nations," he said.
On continuing business with China, he said China may have done anything but there has never been terrorist infiltration from China.
Sirsa also talked about a possible alliance between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and said all AAP does is spread lies and Arvind Kejriwal only cares for political power.
"AAP's only job is to lie...as per my information, Arvind Kejriwal wants Congress, AAP and Akali Dal to form an alliance against BJP...but BJP has no alliance except for Shiromani Akali Dal Sanyukt," said Sirsa.
"There was a time when one could not imagine Kejriwal with congress...similarly, now there is a possibility of him uniting with Akalidal...corruption, drugs and Punjab's condition is not an issue for him, the only issue for Kejriwal is political power," he added. (ANI)
