Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], April 14 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday highlighted the BJP's commitment to fulfilling BR Ambedkar's dreams, including the preservation of reservation, and criticized those attempting to mislead people on this issue.
"Today, the 133rd birth anniversary of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar is being celebrated. His vision of 'Antyodaya' is being carried forward by the BJP. The dreams envisioned by Babasaheb are being fulfilled by the BJP, his dreams are being fulfilled by the party," Sharma said.
In a veiled jibe at the Congress, Sharma said, "A few people who are trying to mislead in the name of reservation. I would like to tell you that the reservation given by Babasaheb will continue, no force in the world can scrap it. The ones trying to mislead, everyone knows what they did to Baba Saheb Ambedkar. The Congress party is not true to anyone. If any party is fulfilling Baba Saheb's dream it is the BJP," Sharma said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, on his birth anniversary, saying "he is an inspiration for various backward-class people."
"Tributes to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Jayanti. Jai Bhim!" the Prime Minister posted on X.
"Babasaheb Ambedkar is an inspiration for various people belonging to the backward classes. He made us realise that to achieve anything, it's not necessary to be born into a wealthy family. Instead, in India people born into poor families can also dream and work hard to fulfil their vision," PM Modi said in the video posted on X.

"There were times when people tried to stop him and strived that a poor man belonging to a backward class would not move forward. However, the image of the new India is completely different. This India belongs to Babasaheb Ambedkar, to the poor, to the backward class," he added. (ANI)
