Bihar: Excise dept instructs DMs, SPs to conduct river patrolling to check liquor smuggling

Telangana Jagruthi President K Kavitha received a notice by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor scam case.

"The Election Commission is a constitutional body. Conducting the SIR process is their right. What do these people want? Do they want to win by using the fake votes of Bangladeshis, Rohingyas, infiltrators, the deceased, and those with double entries? This cannot happen. The people of Bengal have the right to the resources of Bengal, not the infiltrators and Bangladeshis," he said.

According to an official statement from the Chief Minister's office, "sacred land of the Ganga River, Yamuna River, the Char Dham, Adi Kailash and several revered Shakti Peeths, Uttarakhand has long been a center of faith for Sanatan followers across the world. In this context, the state government is making efforts to promote Uttarakhand as a major hub for religious and spiritual tourism and pilgrimage, which is also expected to boost economic activities in the state."

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that development work is progressing steadily in the state with the cooperation of the central government.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue and Land Reforms Department Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, on Tuesday, called the strike by revenue employees and circle officers a "conspiracy."
